The Yung Titanz are "Slick" with the flow and "Grimy" with the spice, their style is often described as hip-hop mixed with r&b.  Grimy was born in Chicago but grew up in the Orlando, Florida area before returning to Chicagoland for his last two years of high school. That is where he met Slick the Chicago native who was a classmate of Grimy. Slick and Grimy hit it off well and soon discovered that they were both big hip-hop fans. They decided to go over Slicks house and see if they could make some songs together. Slick ansd Grimy worked very hard perfecting their routines and after getting some positive feed back from their friends the decided to form the Yung Titanz.  In a few short weeks they put together a mixtape, put it on MySpace and started a little buzz at their high school.

In the spring of '08 while checking out a friend request on MySpace, 1913 Records CEO Mr. Drama heard the Yung Titanz mixtape and was impressed with their work. After an audition and several meetings with 1913 Records, the Yung Titanz were signed to a recording deal. They immediately went in the studio to work on their forthcoming debut album "Trying To Get Signed", which will hit stores in the summer '09. They currently have two hot singles "Hey Girl” and "Hustlin" out now and have 2 more singles that will be released by the summer . You can check them out in their debut video"Hustlin'" on YouTube. They also appear on the hit street anthem "I'm Gangsta" also showing on YouTube, from their producer and 1913 label-mate MAGIK a.k.a. Mr.ONE 9.

The Yung Titanz mix a perfect blend of R&B and Hip-Hop that manages to do what a lot of music does not and that is appeal to the fellas and the ladies. From the first listen it becomes apparent that the Yung Titanz are here to stay.
